Prospective Students:

With an average of 400 applications annually, our review process is focused on assessing each applicant's depth and breadth of  proficiency in science, the quantity and quality of their previous achievements, and other unique characteristics.

The Admission Committee seeks  responsible, mature, and ethical applicants who are passionate about medicine and understand that the role of a doctor is a lifelong experience and challenge.

We understand that the decision to pursue career in medicine is not to be taken lightly. The intensity of the educational process requires substantial support from family, friends, faculty and many others. We strongly believe that every applicant needs to make sure he/she is well aware of  his/her potential before applying.

Application and admission procedures

Admission to International school of medicine is a multistage process strictly based on merits.

A prospective student can apply online or through one of our regional partners/representatives.

Except the main requirements we have a set of other specific rules for each country. The additional information might be provided in the regional offices of our regional representatives or directly from our international admission office (contact information is below).

After fulfilling all the requirements  and getting admitted  you will be provided with a provisional admission letter and application form at your request.

Finally, as soon as your visa invitation is ready, we will mail you a confirmed admission letter with visa invitation.



Current Students

Our main task is to help students enjoy as much as possible out of their experiences in the school.

The main prerequisite for each school member to be successful is to respect ISM integrity code, which is based on three main principlesEquity, Quality, and Transparency.

The key to academic success is a hard work. Our faculty members, university administration and students services are determined to assist ISM students in this endeavor. will help get good marks and actively socialize with others within or beyond academic program, residence hall, or students’ and health organizations.

We are committed to help our current residents getting involved in different organizations, social activities, leadership opportunities, campus jobs and internships, and choose the housing, dining and living options that work best for everyone.

ISM integrity code

The ISM does not allow discrimination on grounds of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability or any other illegal considerations in any school-recognized area of student life.  

Administration and faculty of ISM respects the rights and personal dignity of students, and is strongly committed to its responsibilities with high pedagogical professionalism while adhering to high moral and ethical relationships with students and colleagues.

ISM students have the rights and responsibilities to examine and discuss all matters of interest and to express opinions publicly and privately. Nevertheless, they should respect not only their fellow students' rights but also the rights of other members of the academic community to free expression.

Information about student opinions or beliefs as well as judgment of students’ abilities, which become known to faculty members during the course of study, should be considered confidential and may be disclosed only under appropriate circumstances.

Students' performance should be evaluated only on an academic basis, and not emerge from opinions or other speculations unrelated to academic matters.

Students are responsible for learning the content and maintaining standards of academic performance established for each course study.

Students are responsible for maintaining academic integrity and should report any academic misconduct.

Examples of academic misconduct include but are not limited to cheating and use of unauthorized material during examination and assignments, improper collaboration with others,  fabrication, forgery, alteration of documents, lying and other factors that might affect academic success of students.

Health services and emergency

Each ISM student is required to have adequate medical service coverage to enroll in any ISM offered program.

ISM medical service coverage is provided for the duration of student’s study in the school. Medical service coverage fee will be added to student tuition.

Medical coverage covers emergency hospitalization and medical services (including out-patient treatment at a doctor's clinic) for an unexpected sickness or injury.

Please, note that health coverage is not provided for students who travel outside of Kyrgyzstan.

The benefits of contacting ISM representatives of your country origin is that you can explain everything in your own language and dialect and then you will be guided to resolve your problem

Although Indian and Pakistani students are the largest groups of students in ISM and have own ISM representatives, students from many other countries study here. They may contact vice-dean for security directly and describe the nature of emergency in English or Russian language.
